The Strings Celebrate 'Watercolor Moon' in Phoenix

The Strings are celebrating the release of their debut album Watercolor Moon with a special show at Valley Bar in Phoenix, joined by Smooth Hands, The Joeys and Aura May. The band, together since 2016, blend folk, alternative and art rock to craft songs that reflect on the human condition and the shared experience of simply being alive.

Across the bill, the evening spans psychedelic pop rock from Tempe's Aura May, twangy Arizona desert rock from The Joeys, and Smooth Hands' genre-hopping indie take on country and folk. It's a wide-ranging night of alt, psych and folk rock in the Valley, celebrating a new record with a hometown-friendly lineup.
