Bassist and composer Vincent Tsung-Yu Hsu brings his Soy La Ley Afro-Cuban Jazz Band to Snug Harbor for an evening that blends jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and the musical traditions of Taiwan. Joined by musicians from Taiwan and New Orleans, the ensemble creates a vibrant sound bridging cultures. The performance features music from Hsu's upcoming album *Spirits From Both Sides*, new works inspired by travels in West Africa, and the U.S. premiere of his suite *Danza Para Miró*.

The band includes Vincent Hsu on bass, David Navarro on trumpet, Brent Rose on saxophone, Victor Campbell on piano, Shih-Chun Lee on guitar, and Kuan-Liang Lin on drums. This concert reflects Hsu's global journey, having studied under jazz greats and performed worldwide.
