Anaheim Ducks
The Anaheim Ducks are a professional ice hockey team based in Anaheim, California, competing in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League. The franchise was established in 1993 as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, an expansion team owned by The Walt Disney Company and named after Disney's 1992 film The Mighty Ducks. The team plays home games at the Honda Center.

Über Anaheim Ducks
The team reached its first Stanley Cup Final in 2003, losing to the New Jersey Devils, powered by goaltender Jean-Sébastien Giguère, who won the Conn Smythe Trophy despite the defeat. Disney sold the club to Henry and Susan Samueli in 2005, and the team was renamed the Anaheim Ducks before the 2006-07 season. That season the Ducks won the Stanley Cup, defeating the Ottawa Senators in five games, led by veterans Teemu Selanne and Scott Niedermayer alongside emerging stars Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf.
Paul Kariya was the face of the franchise through the 1990s before later stars including Selanne, Niedermayer, Perry and Getzlaf carried the team through its most successful era, reaching the playoffs nine times in eleven seasons after the 2007 championship and winning six Pacific Division titles.
The Ducks missed the playoffs for seven consecutive seasons through 2024-25 and are currently in a rebuilding phase under head coach Joel Quenneville.
