Über Icon for Hire
The band signed to Tooth & Nail Records in 2010 and released the albums Scripted (2011), which debuted at number 95 on the Billboard 200 and number five on the Christian Albums chart, and the self-titled Icon for Hire (2013), which reached number 66 on the Billboard 200. Icon for Hire left Tooth & Nail in 2015, citing creative, ideological, and technical differences, and has released music independently since, including You Can't Kill Us (2016) and Amorphous (2021).
Since departing their label, Bloomer and Jump have continued the band as its core creative unit, working through several lineup changes among supporting musicians. The band has built its identity around lyrics addressing mental health, identity, and personal struggle, paired with a live show that mixes heavier rock instrumentation with electronic and pop elements.
