Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri, competing in the AFC West division of the National Football League. The franchise was established in 1959 as a charter member of the American Football League, playing its first three seasons as the Dallas Texans before relocating to Kansas City in 1963 under founder Lamar Hunt.

Über Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs joined the NFL in the 1970 AFL-NFL merger and have won four Super Bowl titles: Super Bowl IV following the 1969 season, and a run of three championships in Super Bowl LIV (2019 season), LVII (2022 season), and LVIII (2023 season). The team also holds three AFL championships and five AFC championships.
The Chiefs' modern success has been built under head coach Andy Reid, who has led the team since 2013 to nine consecutive division titles and five Super Bowl appearances. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, a two-time NFL MVP, and tight end Travis Kelce, who holds the record for most consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons by a tight end, anchor an offense regarded as among the league's most productive.
Historic franchise figures include Len Dawson, MVP of Super Bowl IV, and Hunt, who owned the team from its founding until his death in 2006. The Chiefs' championships in the early 2020s established them as one of the league's most successful franchises of that period.
