Latto
Latto, born Alyssa Michelle Stephens on December 22, 1998, in Columbus, Ohio, is an American rapper raised in the Atlanta area of Georgia. She began writing and performing rap at age ten and first gained attention as Miss Mulatto, winning the inaugural season of Jermaine Dupri's reality competition The Rap Game in 2016.

Über Latto
Her 2019 single Bitch from da Souf achieved platinum certification and became her first Billboard Hot 100 entry, leading to a deal with RCA Records and her debut album Queen of da Souf (2020). She reached wider prominence with Big Energy (2021), a triple-platinum single that peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and made her the first female rapper to top the Pop, Rhythm, and Urban radio charts simultaneously with one song. Latto raps primarily within Southern hip hop and trap idioms with pop-leaning hooks.
Following Queen of da Souf, she released the albums 777 (2022) and Sugar Honey Iced Tea (2024), both reaching the top twenty of the Billboard 200, and she earned two Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist, at the 2023 ceremony after winning Best New Artist at the 2022 BET Awards.
