Rio Da Yung Og
Rio Da Yung OG, born Da'mario Donshay Horne-McCullough on May 11, 1994, in Flint, Michigan, is an American rapper closely associated with the Michigan rap scene. He began releasing music under the name in 2017, developing a raw, conversational style built on dry humor and unfiltered accounts of street life, often delivered in one-take verses without hooks or choruses, over productions built around heavy piano and bass typical of the Flint sound.

Über Rio Da Yung Og
Placed under house arrest in 2019 on drug trafficking charges, he used the confinement to release seven projects within a year, including installments of the Dum and Dumber mixtape series recorded with collaborator RMC Mike. His 2020 album City on My Back further built his profile, and his single "Legendary" was later certified platinum.
In 2021 he began serving a federal prison sentence after pleading guilty to firearm possession in furtherance of drug trafficking, having been mentored earlier in his career by Detroit rapper Peezy. He was released in December 2024 and returned with the projects Rio Free and F.L.I.N.T. He is credited with helping raise the profile of fellow Flint artists YN Jay and Louie Ray.
