Limassol Events 2026: LMF, MEDFEST & Festivals

Limassol (Lemesos) is the events capital of Cyprus — no city on the island hosts more concerts, festivals and nightlife. The seafront, the medieval castle quarter and the marina form a near-continuous summer programme from June to September.

Why Limassol for events

Limassol combines a long sandy coast, a restored old port and marina, and the biggest concentration of bars and clubs on the island. Major touring acts and dance events choose Limassol first, and the city's festivals — from beer and wine to choral and electronic music — run right through the season.

It is central on the south coast, 40 minutes from Paphos and Larnaca airports, making it the natural base for an events-focused trip to Cyprus.

City of Dreams Mediterranean — the resort that became a venue

Just inland from the coast sits City of Dreams Mediterranean, Europe's largest integrated casino resort and a genuine destination in its own right — a highrise hotel, family pool complex, restaurants and year-round entertainment programme. Since opening it has pulled headline acts into Limassol that previously skipped Cyprus entirely: the resort's summer pool parties have hosted international DJs, including Timmy Trumpet's 2026 Limassol show.
