Liverpool Sound City, Liverpool, 2 May 2027

Liverpool Sound City takes place at Various City Centre Venues in Liverpool on 2 May 2027, 12:00. It is an annual music festival and industry conference held in Liverpool, England. Tickets start from GBP 48.95.

The festival was founded in 2008 by Dave Pichilingi. Its early editions used city centre venues such as The Kazimier, The Zanzibar and the Liverpool Cathedral, until 2015, when it moved to Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool's docklands. The Sound City conference is a one-day music industry conference with keynotes, in conversations and workshop sessions.

In 2025 the conference announced a partnership with the BPI to incorporate the BPI's In Tune With Tomorrow Summit. The John Peel World Cup, a five-a-side tournament, runs every year alongside the festival. Its funds go to the British Heart Foundation in memory of John Peel.
