The band was founded in 1980 and had hits between 1981 and 1987, including "Easier Said Than Done", "Night Birds" and "Down On The Street". The current core members are pianist and keyboardist Bill Sharpe, Jill Saward on lead vocals and flute, bassist George Anderson and drummer Roger Odell. Guitarist Keith Winter, an original member, rejoined after Alan Wormald died in March 2023.

The shows on this tour run for a good 90 minutes. Nochtspeicher is about 160 years old, stands near the Landungsbrücken and once served as a distillery and an erotic art museum. It now hosts live concerts and other events.
