Andrea Gibson's Love Letter From The Afterlife

An intimate evening of spoken word and live music, Andrea Gibson's Love Letter from the Afterlife brings together poet Andrea Gibson and their wife and collaborator Megan Falley, with the Goosebump Orchestra and special guests. The show grows out of the story told in the documentary Come See Me in the Good Light and unfolds like a love letter from beyond — mixing poems, orchestral textures, and the personal history Gibson shared on stage.

Gibson was a poet and activist whose work moved between gender, politics, social justice, LGBTQ life, illness, and mortality. Their performances helped fuel a resurgence of spoken-word poetry in the mid-2000s, and they wrote seven poetry collections and seven albums over a lifetime of touring.
