Monster Jam: Monster Trucks Roar Into Omaha

Monster Jam is a live motorsport event tour from Feld Entertainment, bringing monster truck competitions to arenas and stadiums. Trucks such as Grave Digger, El Toro Loco, and Sparkle Smash take on three main disciplines: heads-up racing, two-wheel skills, and freestyle. In racing, the first truck to cross the finish line advances; two-wheel skills, added more recently, sees drivers balance on two wheels in front of the crowd.

Freestyle turns an open floor of ramps and junked cars into a playground for stunts, with spectators voting for drivers in real time through a score tracking website. Arena shows may add a donut competition, ATV racing, speedster racing, and a speedster obstacle course. The tour is based in North America and has travelled to Europe, Australia, Mexico, Costa Rica, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and Singapore. Sanctioned by the United States Hot Rod Association, Monster Jam gives the crowd a direct say in the winners, and a driver who tops all three competitions in one night has swept the event.
