An 'in the round' songwriter night comes to The Bluebird Cafe, where Megan Conner, Brian White, Joybeth Taylor and JP Williams perform together on stage. The venue's intimate setup of tables, bar seats and church pews keeps the audience close to the music, with extra pew seats offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Three of the four performers have deep Nashville songwriting résumés. Megan Conner, a writer and producer for over 18 years, has landed songs with Rascal Flatts, Chris Young and Danny Gokey, plus placements in film, TV and a Super Bowl ad. Brian White has written more than 400 songs, earned a Grammy nomination and sixteen country number ones, and had hits recorded by Jason Aldean, Trace Adkins and Gary Allan. Joybeth Taylor, an Alabama transplant to Nashville, signed her first publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing and has since celebrated a number one song.
Presented by the National Federation of the Blind of Tennessee, this round offers a close-up look at the people behind the songs in a listening room built for music.
