Πολιτική Απορρήτου
Last updated: 3 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Wanderistan does and does not collect when you use the site. We have built the site to need as little personal data as possible.
1. No account, no profile
Wanderistan does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other contact details to browse the site.
2. Location data
Features such as "Near Me" and finding the nearest on-duty pharmacy use your device's location. Your browser asks for your permission first, and your coordinates are used in your browser to sort nearby results. We do not store your precise location on our servers or share it with third parties.
3. Preferences stored on your device
We save small preference values — such as whether you chose the resident or visitor view and which country you are browsing — in your browser using cookies and local storage. These stay on your device, are not used to identify you, and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
4. Analytics
We use analytics (via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used in aggregate — for example which pages are popular — so we can improve it. This may involve cookies and the processing of anonymised or pseudonymised usage data by Google as a processor. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.
5. Third-party services
The site loads maps and links to external services (such as mapping and directions providers). When you interact with those, their own privacy policies apply. We encourage you to review them.
6. Your choices
You can decline location access, clear cookies and local storage, or use your browser's privacy controls and tracking protection at any time. Declining location only disables the location-based features; the rest of the site continues to work.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows when this version was last updated.
8. Contact
Questions about privacy can be raised via the "Report a problem" links across the site.
