Black Sea Dahu, the Swiss indie-pop septet led by singer-songwriter Janine Cathrein, brings their atmospheric folk sound to Erlangen. The band, formed from friends and family including Janine's sister Vera and brother Simon, blends cello, flute, and percussion into a contemporary urban folk style.

Their music, described as indie-pop with roots in earlier projects under the name Josh, has earned international acclaim. The debut album *White Creatures* and the EP *No Fire in the Sand* were recorded in Norway, while the 2022 album *I Am My Mother* continued their evolution. Fans can expect a set that draws from this rich catalog, performed by a seven-piece ensemble known for tight harmonies and emotional depth.
