Literaturhaus Hamburg 2026 - Hühnerwik & Schwanenposten: new literature from Hamburg on Wednesday 25 November 2026 at 19:00 at the Zentralbibliothek der Bücherhallen Hamburg.
Literaturhaus Hamburg 2026 - Hühnerwik & Schwanenposten takes place on Wednesday 25 November 2026 at 19:00 at the Zentralbibliothek der Bücherhallen Hamburg, Hühnerposten 1, 20097 Hamburg. The organiser is Literaturhaus Hamburg, Schwanenwik 38, 22087 Hamburg, Deutschland. The Zentralbibliothek am Hühnerposten and the Literaturhaus am Schwanenwik present the Hamburg literary scene and its new publications of the year twice a year, here or there.
The first edition is a long night at the Zentralbibliothek with six authors of all genres. Michel Decar comes with his "Nr. 1" (März Verlag), a mixture of poetry, drama and novel.
Wiebke Bolduan draws comics and has published "Planet Elmar" with Reprodukt; the comic tells of the feeling of being foreign in the world. Crime author Robert Brack is an expert on historical Hamburg and crime: "Die nackte Haut" (Edition Nautilus) is set in the jazz scene on St. Pauli in the 1950s. Nefeli Kavouras's novel debut "Gelb, auch ein schöner Gedanke" (KiWi) tells of farewell and death and of a mother and daughter who try to find their way back to each other.
Benjamin Maack has written "Bewerbungen um einen Job als Mensch" (Suhrkamp), a depression diary. "Pizza Orlando" (Ecco) is the title of Clara Umbach's novel, in which the author and ceramic artist tells a love story against the backdrop of an incurable illness. The evening is moderated by Frauke Untiedt and Antje Flemming, in cooperation with the Zentralbibliothek der Bücherhallen Hamburg.
