Skandal! The tour looks back at an afternoon in January 1891, when several sleighs travelled to the hunting lodge.

A party that began with partner swapping ended in April 1896 with a final duel, in which one of the guests was killed and the other was later convicted. The affair went down in history as the Kotze-Skandal. Astrid Heiland-Vondruska and Kathrin Külow follow the trail of the letters that, after the party, circulated by the hundreds among the court society and put individual guests in a bad light.
