BIG|BRAVE + HELM at Signature Brew Haggerston, London

BIG|BRAVE are a trio: guitarist/vocalist Robin Wattie, guitarist Mathieu Ball and touring bassist Liam Andrews. Their album in grief or in hope is their tenth. It moves towards denser, guitar-oriented compositions, and it was the first studio recording with Liam Andrews alongside Wattie and Ball.

The pieces draw on drone, electronic and heavy music within a foundation of pop song form. BIG|BRAVE formed in Montreal in 2012 and are billed as a Canadian experimental metal band. They have been three-time Polaris Music Prize nominees.
