Ibibio Sound Machine brings their blend of West African funk, disco, and electronic music to Brighton. The London-based band, fronted by vocalist Eno Williams, delivers a performance that fuses Afrobeat rhythms with modern post-punk and electro influences.
The eight-piece ensemble includes guitar, percussion, drums, bass, trombone, trumpet, and saxophone. Williams' lyrics draw from Ibibio folk tales and contemporary themes.
