White Denim, the American rock band from Austin, Texas, brings their eclectic sound to Leeds. Known for blending dub, psychedelic rock, blues, punk, progressive rock, soul, jazz, and experimental rock, their music features intense looping and unusual song structures. Attendees can expect a high-energy performance rooted in the band's extensive touring history, including appearances at SXSW and Bonnaroo.
The band's journey began in 2005 when members of Parque Touch and Peach Train merged, eventually forming White Denim in 2006. Their early recordings in a 1940s Spartan trailer captured a punk-infused, psychedelic blues-rock style. Over the years, they have released multiple albums, including *Workout Holiday*, *Fits*, and *D*, and have opened for acts like Wilco. This Leeds show promises a dynamic set drawing from their diverse catalog.
