The Storytelling Trail: A Winter Journey Through Dublin

The Storytelling Trail: A Winter Journey Through Dublin is a guided storytelling experience run by Flavour Trails in Dublin from 1 November 2026 to 28 February 2027. A storyteller-guide leads the walk through historic streets and tells ancient legends, including the tale of the Cailleach, Ireland's winter goddess. The route covers Irish Christmas customs, rural traditions, festive superstitions and stories handed down through generations.

It ends with an Irish coffee-making experience that explains the story behind the drink. The tour takes place in Dublin's historic pubs and covers Irish mythology, fairy folklore and the stories of Dublin characters such as Bang Bang and The Hairy Lemon. Guests have traditional Irish pub food pairings and a glass of local Irish beer or cider.

The tour runs 7 days a week and lasts 3 hours at a comfortable pace. Start times are 18:00 Sunday to Thursday and 14:00 Friday and Saturday.
