The Haifa International Film Festival is a major cinematic event in Israel, held each autumn in Haifa. It was the first festival of its kind in the country and continues to attract film-goers and media professionals from Israel and abroad. The programme spans roughly 170 new films, with categories that include feature films, documentaries, animation, short films, retrospectives and tributes.

Screenings take place around the clock across seven theaters, and the festival also includes open-air screenings, so visitors can move between indoor screenings and outdoor sessions.
