Mixanteña de Santa Cecilia, a Mexican brass band from the Costa Chica region of Guerrero and Oaxaca, brings its festive musical experience to Lisbon for the first time. The band's sound blends chilenas, boleros, cumbias, and merequetengues, turning every stage into a space for collective celebration where dance, joy, and closeness with the audience take center stage. Celebrating 15 years of history, this European tour—including a stop at WOMAD UK—presents a living expression that unites party, memory, and community.

Following the live set, DJ Erika Fatna—a Liechtenstein-born, Moroccan and Congolese-descended selector now based in Lisbon and co-founder of the Alvine space—takes over with an eclectic mix of Disco, Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, and electronic music. Her soulful, worldly selection promises a fluid and always fun musical journey.
