About Hugel

His 2018 remix of "Bella Ciao" became a summer radio hit across German-speaking Europe and achieved platinum certification in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while his 2021 single "Morenita" helped popularize Latin house within European dance music. His 2024 single with Topic, Arash and Daecolm reached the top ten of the charts in Austria and Switzerland and achieved platinum certification in France and Greece.

He has collaborated with and remixed material for artists including David Guetta, J Balvin, Robin Schulz and Diplo, and releases through the major labels Warner and Universal Music Group as well as his own imprint, Make the Girls Dance Records. His productions blend house with Afro house, tribal and Latin influences, layering organic instrumentation over electronic elements in a sound he has described as rooted in funk, disco and hip-hop.

Hugel completed a summer residency in Ibiza in 2025 and has said he is working on a full-length album featuring multiple vocalist collaborations, alongside continued international festival touring.
