About Käärijä
Käärijä, the stage name of Jere Pöyhönen, is a Finnish rapper and singer from Vantaa whose music mixes pop rap, electronic production and rap metal.
He represented Finland at Eurovision 2023 with Cha Cha Cha, finishing second overall while winning the public televote outright; the song became the first Finnish-language track to reach the UK Top 10.
His albums include the 2020 debut Fantastista and 2024's People's Champion, and his live shows carry over the song's high-energy, maximalist staging.
