Wilfried Schmickler is a German cabaret artist, born on 28 November 1954 in Hitdorf, now part of Leverkusen. He has lived in Cologne's Südstadt since the 1990s. After his Abitur in 1973 and civil service, he formed a theater group that became the trio Matsche, Works und Hallies, later Matsche, Works und Pullrich.

In 1989 he succeeded Jürgen Becker in the cabaret trio 3 Gestirn Köln 1, which won the Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis in 2001. He later performed as a solo artist, with programs including Aufhören! (2004), Es war nicht alles schlecht (2009), Das Letzte (2015), Kein zurück! (2018) and Es hört nicht auf (2022).

Schmickler was a regular contributor to the WDR television show Mitternachtsspitzen from 1992 to 2020, where his closing monologues became known for the shout Aufhören, Herr Becker! Aufhören! His awards include the Deutscher Kabarettpreis (2007), the Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis in the cabaret category (2009), the Salzburger Stier (2010) and an honorary Bayerischer Kabarettpreis (2021).
