Overview
A four-day running challenge around Pafos and Akamas landscapes. Venue: Pafos and Akamas routes. Source: the official Visit Cyprus 2026 annual events programme; check the event link for times, tickets and last-minute changes.
The Leptos Cyprus International 4-Day Challenge is a staged running event that covers a distance slightly longer than a marathon, combining road, trail, and cross-country running over four days. Participants take on four distinct races: a 6k time trial, an 11k mountain trail run, a multi-terrain half marathon, and a 10k city run. The event takes place in the Paphos area, largely within the Akamas Nature Reserve Park, offering runners some of Cyprus's most scenic routes with panoramic views of the Akamas Peninsula.
The challenge is open to runners of all levels, with individual and team participation options. Teams consist of 3 to 4 persons, with the best three timings counting. Water and fruit stations, as well as medical support, are available throughout the races. The official event hotel is the Coral Beach Hotel & Resort, where registration, race number collection, and the awards ceremony take place.
Beyond the running, the event fosters a festive atmosphere with a cocktail and awards ceremony on the final day. Accommodation packages and race transfers are available, making it easy for participants to focus on the experience. The combination of diverse terrain, stunning natural beauty, and a supportive community makes this challenge a memorable adventure for any runner.
The minimum age is 18 years for the full event, except for the 10k Paphos City Run which is 17 years.
Yes, early bird booking until April 30 gives a 10% discount, and group registration offers a free entry for every 8th person in a group of 7 full-paying participants.
