XM Limassol Marathon 2027: six races in Limassol on 3 and 4 April 2027, marathon start 7:15

The organiser presents it as a race accredited by AIMS, run on a flat course along the Mediterranean coastline: out from the centre of the city along the beachfront to the ancient ruins at Amathus and back, a distance of 42.195 kilometres.

The weekend is split in two. On 3 April 2027 the Primetel 5KM Corporate Race starts at 09:00 and the McDonald’s Kids Race 1KM starts at 10:45; the organiser marks the details of these two races as provisional until the race courses are officially announced. On 4 April 2027 the XM Marathon Race starts at 7:15, the MUSKITA Half Marathon Race at 7:25, the PETROLINA 10KM Energy Race at 7:45 and the Axlebolt 5KM City Race at 11:00.

The XM Marathon Race starts and finishes at the Western End of Molos Park. From there the marathon route heads west through the Old City of Limassol and on to the Limassol Port, then turns east along the coast to Amathus before returning to Molos Park for the finish.

Entry to the marathon is limited to runners aged 18 and over, and every athlete signs the Athlete Declaration Form. The organiser sets fees per race: the regular individual fee for the marathon is €70.00, while the McDonald’s Kids Race 1KM is free to enter.

Race packs are collected from the Registration Offices on 1, 2 and 3 April 2027. The offices are open from 11:00 to 19:00 on 1 April and from 9:00 to 18:00 on 2 and 3 April; the organiser has not yet announced where they will be. Runners need the personal bib number issued there to get into the start line area on race day.
