Events in Dortmund — April 2027

April is typically when the outdoor events calendar starts filling in — festivals, markets and open-air performances return as days lengthen.

• Look for the first big open-air festivals and food markets of the year
• Catch Easter and spring-holiday programming for families
• Book early for May and summer festivals, which often sell out ahead of time
