Lollapalooza is a music festival founded in 1991 by Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell, originally as a farewell touring festival that became a defining event of the alternative-rock era. Since 2005 its home has been Grant Park in Chicago, where it draws around 400,000 fans across four days each summer.
