Nit Europea de la Recerca in Barcelona

The Nit Europea de la Recerca is a public event dedicated to science outreach, aiming to bring research, innovation, and its protagonists closer to audiences of all ages in a simple and fun way. Held simultaneously in over 300 cities across 30 European countries, the Catalan edition features more than 200 activities, including talks, workshops, experiments, shows, and games.

In Barcelona, visitors can join hands-on workshops like building the Universe with Lego, exploring classical and quantum interference, or discovering how light affects behavior. Other sessions delve into seeing tumors with electricity, the science of pencils, and using virtual reality to prevent sexual harassment. The event spans multiple venues across the city and beyond, offering a diverse program for curious minds of every age.
