A screening of José Luis Guerín's *En construcción* takes place at Cinema Maldà, presented by the young programmers of Moving Cinema. The film, shot in Barcelona at the turn of the millennium, follows the transformation of the Raval neighborhood during the construction of an apartment block. Residents, workers, immigrants, and future buyers pass through this essential work of contemporary European cinema, observed with the patience of an archaeologist.

Guerín, a key figure in Spanish cinema, uses the building site to portray people, trades, relationships, a neighborhood, and an era. The film captures the layers of time and the precarious balance between inhabitants and their stories, reflecting not only Barcelona but many European neighborhoods undergoing change. The screening is free and part of the Enfocats 2026 festival, with an introduction by the young programmers.
