Setmana de la Mobilitat Sants - Montjuic

Barcelona's annual European Mobility Week turns the city into a living showcase of sustainable transport, with the Sants-Montjuïc district joining in the citywide programme. The week is packed with talks, presentations, promotional activities and workshops organised by local entities and facilities, all aimed at encouraging residents to rethink how they move around. More than 80% of journeys in Barcelona already use sustainable modes, and the event pushes to increase that share further.

A highlight is the open-door days at public transport facilities, where visitors can tour spaces normally closed to the public. These include the TRAM depots, the RENFE Rodalies management centre, the Bicing operations centre, the Guàrdia Urbana stables, and unique venues like the Cuca de Llum at Tibidabo and the Glòries park. The free activities feature demonstrations and immersive experiences, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the infrastructure that keeps the city moving.
