La escritura de lo vivo

In Burgos, the Biblioteca Pública Municipal "Miguel de Cervantes" hosts *La escritura de lo vivo*, an exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Víctor Atobas. The show presents his most recent pictorial production, conceived not as a representation of reality but as an act of inscription of the *zoon bios*. Through a brushstroke that acts as a trace of writing, the paintings explore the vitality of birds and fish, capturing their powers and movements. The central axis is the purpose of undoing the face: disarticulating human morphology and identity to let the canvas be inhabited by animal becomings.

The exhibition comprises 13 works of 80x70 cm. The opening is a collective event with DJ sessions by Minichino and Psymurai. Atobas, born in Burgos in 1990, is a transdisciplinary artist and activist, a disciple of Jaime Pastor, with a PhD in Philosophy from the UCM. His compositions often feature the figures of the júnjuma and the trágala, created from a process of abstraction that has gained concreteness over time. This is the first time this series is shown, offering a unique opportunity to experience his latest work.
