Club de Matemáticas at Biblioteca Iván de Vargas

Club de Matemáticas is a maths club for students from 3º de ESO to 2º de Bachillerato who have curiosity and enthusiasm. It is not a support space but one of mathematical deepening. It is taught by Gary McConnell, Doctor en Matemáticas por Cambridge, and explores open problems of current mathematics in small groups.

The contents adapt to the interest of the group and, in the last trimester, to that of each student: each participant develops their own guided research project. Sessions are held once a week, from 16:30hs to 18:30hs, choosing Monday or Thursday. Activities begin on Monday 5 October.

It takes place at Biblioteca Pública Municipal Iván de Vargas (Centro), CALLE SAN JUSTO, 5, 28005 MADRID, Madrid, España, in Barrio / Distrito PALACIO / CENTRO. Registration is through the registration form.

It is free. It is organised by Biblioteca Iván de Vargas and Asociación John H. Coates (JHC).
