Zentangle Workshop for Adults in Madrid

This hands-on workshop introduces Zentangle, a guided drawing technique built from simple, repetitive strokes. Hosted by the Fuencarral Day Center and Social Support Center, the session begins with a short meditation before moving into the creative practice. No previous artistic experience is needed—the focus is on enjoying the process and discovering how mindful drawing can become a tool for relaxation and self-expression. By the end, each participant will have created their own Zentangle piece.

The workshop takes place in the group room of the José Saramago Municipal Public Library in the Fuencarral-El Pardo district. It is part of the activities organized around World Mental Health Day, which is observed each year on October 10. During the same period, the library also hosts the exhibition "Espacio Zen" from October 1 to 30, offering a broader look at the art form. This is a free activity, but advance registration is required, and spaces are likely to fill quickly given the intimate setting.
