Budapest Oktoberfest is a Bavarian-style beer festival first held in 2013, staged across pop-up beer gardens at Erzsébet Square in central Budapest as well as sites such as Margaret Island and Buda Castle’s Savoyai Terrace. Its eleventh edition ran in 2025.

About Budapest Oktoberfest
The event recreates the atmosphere of Munich’s original Oktoberfest with imported Bavarian festival beers, German folk-band performances, and traditional food, dress and decor, typically running across several weekends from late September into October.
