About Cerbul de Aur (Golden Stag)

Since its revival the festival has had an irregular history, running through the 1990s and 2000s, pausing again between 2010 and 2017 for lack of funding, and returning for editions in 2018 and 2019. It remains one of Romania’s best-known music-festival brands, built around a song competition that has hosted performers from dozens of countries over its history.
