LGBTQIA+ Speedfriending Event

LGBTQIA+ Speedfriending Event is a speedfriending evening at IrisHelsinki in Helsinki on Friday, 23 October 2026, running from 16:30 to 21:00. It is designed for meeting new people in an LGBTQIA+ friendly and safer setting. The evening opens with casual conversation over a cup of cocoa. At 17:00 a group introduction begins, followed by rounds in which each participant chats with every other participant for a few minutes. After the rounds there is time for relaxed socializing and board games. The event is aimed at LGBTQAI+ youth aged 16 to 25, and everyone's right to self-definition is respected. IrisHelsinki's "safer space" principles apply. Registration is open until Wednesday, 22 October, and space is limited. The event is free of charge and is held in Finnish. IrisHelsinki is a youth center for young people aged 13 to 25 who belong to sexual and gender minorities or are exploring rainbow themes.
