Paris Plages returns for its 24th edition, transforming the banks of the Seine and the Bassin de la Villette into a free summer playground. Since 2002, this beloved initiative has offered Parisians who stay in town during the holidays a chance to relax and enjoy activities right in the city center.

On the Rives de Seine, from the tunnel des Tuileries to the Pont de Sully, visitors can lounge on transats, play pétanque, or take part in gentle and sporty activities. The site also features the new Bras Marie swimming area at the foot of the Pont Louis-Philippe. At the Bassin de la Villette, the aquatic fun continues with paddle, canoe, a tyrolienne, and a dedicated children's club, all set along the canal.

Paris Plages is part of the larger Paris en Seine program, making it a highlight of the summer calendar. Whether you're looking to sunbathe, swim, or simply stroll along the quays, this free event offers a unique way to experience the city's waterways.
