About Cardiff
A compact, confident capital that punches above its size: a genuine medieval castle sits in the middle of the shopping streets, and the whole city centre is walkable in under twenty minutes. Cardiff Bay's regenerated waterfront and the Principality Stadium give it two very different focal points, and on international rugby weekends the entire city turns into one long singing crowd. It's a cheaper, friendlier alternative to England's big cities rather than a rival to them.
