The Comedy Store Players at The Comedy Store, London, 22 November 2026

The Comedy Store Players, a group of improvisational comedians, perform at The Comedy Store in London on 22 November 2026 at 19:30. The group first came into being in October 1985 and performs once a week on Sundays at The Comedy Store. Shows last approximately 2 hours, including an interval, and in that time the Players play 6 or 7 games.

There is no single host and no points are awarded; the players take turns with the introductions and performing duties. Performances usually feature the regular cast, though a guest performer occasionally appears. The five regular cast members are Josie Lawrence, Neil Mullarkey, Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch and Ruth Bratt.

The games usually include Whoops, in which each performer tells a story and the audience shouts "Whoops! " when one makes a mistake, as well as Freeze Tag, Guess The Job, Translation, Film & Theatre Styles, Musical, Emotions and The Three Headed Expert. The Comedy Store Players entered the Guinness World Records in 2010 for being the world's longest-running comedy show with the same cast.
