The Sweet Kill

Overview

The Sweet Kill is a 1973 B-movie directed by Curtis Hanson in his directorial debut, executive-produced by Roger Corman. The film stars Tab Hunter and follows Eddie Collins, a man who discovers he can only become aroused by dead bodies after accidentally killing a woman, leading him to lure women to their deaths.

Shot in 1971 on a low budget of $130,000, the film faced post-production interference from Corman, who demanded more nudity. Despite its dark subject matter, the Los Angeles Times praised it as "made with a sensitivity and intelligence unusual for the normally lurid psycho genre."
