Spetses Armata Festival

The Armata Festival is Spetses' most important annual celebration, commemorating a historic naval battle from the Greek War of Independence. The event recreates the burning of an Ottoman flagship with a spectacular fireworks display over the old harbor.

Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere with traditional music, dance, and local food stalls lining the waterfront. The highlight is the evening reenactment, where a wooden ship model is set ablaze, accompanied by cannon fire and cheering crowds.
