BARE at BOLT Studios, Cork, 17 October to 15 November 2026

BARE is an immersive theatre production at BOLT Studios in Cork, running from 17 October to 15 November 2026, with daytime and evening sessions. It is for over 16s only, and identification is required. The piece is set in a museum-style space and presents a collection of "live exhibits": individuals suspended in moments of emotional and psychological exposure.

Each character stands at a crossroads. There is no fourth wall, and the audience moves through the space. The characters are entirely nude, which the production treats as symbolic, a stripping away of armour, status and disguise.

Audience members decide which character's story unfolds. They may ask questions, enter into conversation or offer their own experiences, and some may simply observe. Audiences are admitted in small groups for one-hour sessions.

Tickets cost €10, online or at the door. The cast is Aisling Cullen, Karl Buckley, Cian Lehane, Elle Keating, Georgia Maguire, Janette Towey, Matthew Real, Oisín Lyons, Oliver Foley, Owen Warren, Sam Torres, Shaoming Zhu, Tracy Keating and Vjekoslav Vondra.
