Dexys at 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin, 4 November 2026

Dexys play 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin on Wednesday 4 November 2026. The show is sold out. Doors open at 19:00.

The band, fronted by Kevin Rowland, are touring under the name Dexys Midnight Runners for the first time since 2003, when they played a sold-out show at London’s Southbank Centre. Dexys Midnight Runners were founded in Birmingham in 1978 and released the albums Searching For The Young Soul Rebels (1980), Too-Rye-Ay (1982) and Don’t Stand Me Down (1985). They had a string of top ten hits in the 1980s, including two number ones, ‘Geno’ (1980) and ‘Come on Eileen’ (1982).

Kevin Rowland later released solo and further band albums under the ‘Dexys’ name, including One Day I’m Going To Soar in 2012 and The Feminine Divine in 2023, which made number 6 in the U.K. albums chart.

Rowland has also released a memoir, Bless Me Father. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 5 are not permitted.
