Jonathan Swift Festival: And Then There Was Gulliver is a new stage musical at St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin on 26 November 2026, starting at 20:00. It dramatises real events from the life of Jonathan Swift during the period when he wrote Gulliver's Travels. The story also follows his relationships with two women, Stella and Vanessa, and what happened in 1723 when each learned of the other.
Gerry Mullins wrote the musical for the Jonathan Swift Festival, marking 300 years since Gulliver's Travels was published. The cast has nine actors. The performance has two acts with one break and lasts around 2 hours and 12 minutes.
Tickets cost €25. Mullins's earlier Swift musical, Savage Indignation, premiered at St Patrick's Cathedral during the Jonathan Swift Festival in 2024 and returned there for the 2025 festival after playing several other venues.
