Pressure is a film screening at Pavilion Theatre in Dublin on 16 November 2026, with showings at 17:00 and 20:00. It is part of Monday Night Cinema. The drama is set in early June 1944, as Allied leaders secretly prepare plans for D-Day.
Meteorologist Gp Capt. James Stagg is brought into the planning. He and his team identify that unseasonably stormy conditions are likely to lead to a disastrous landing in France.
Competing forecasts suggest fine conditions, so Stagg must convince leaders such as Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, played by Brendan Fraser, that ignoring his forecast could be catastrophic. The cast also includes Irish actors Andrew Scott and Kerry Condon. The film runs 100 minutes and has a 12A certificate.
The language is English. The 17:00 showing has open captions and the 20:00 showing is unsubtitled. Tickets cost €10 or €9, plus a booking fee.
Pressure shows at 17:00 and 20:00.
