Tindersticks at Cirque Royal - Koninklijk Circus, Brussels

Tindersticks play Cirque Royal - Koninklijk Circus in Brussels on 23 April 2027, 19:00. Tindersticks are an English alternative rock band formed in Nottingham in 1992. The band began as Asphalt Ribbons, who reformed under the new name after being left without a record label.

The name comes from singer Stuart Staples finding a box of German matches on a Greek beach. Their first single, "Patchwork", came out in November 1992 on their own label, Tippy Toe Records. The band reunited briefly in 2006 and more permanently the following year, and has recorded several film soundtracks.

It also has a long-standing collaboration with French director Claire Denis. Their tenth studio album, Across Six Leap Years, was released in October 2013.
