Merano Christmas Market 2026: 27 November to 6 January

The Merano Christmas Market 2026 takes place from 27 November 2026 to 6 January 2027 in Merano. The heart of the market is along the Passerpromenade, a few steps from the Kurhaus and the Therme Meran. The Christmas huts offer crafts, Christmas decorations, ceramics, woodwork and gift ideas, alongside mulled wine, warm drinks and culinary specialities.

During the Advent season, concerts, musical performances, traditional events and other programme items take place in Merano around the Christmas market. Places to see during a visit include the Passerpromenade, the Kurhaus, the Therme Meran, the historic old town of Merano and the Tappeinerweg.

The opening ceremony is planned for 26 November 2026 at 17:00. Parking spaces and parking garages are available near the city centre.
